Welcome to our January 2025 Update…

Welcome to our January Update and the first of 2025!

Boarding Bookings

The phones and email inbox have been very busy since the start of the month however we currently still have availability for the whole of the year.
Some periods, including all school holidays, are getting very busy so we strongly advise you to check your plans for the year and get your dates booked asap to avoid disappointment.

As always, we will ensure our website availability page HERE is updated on a weekly basis.

Are the kennels and catteries heated?

This question was asked a lot last week during the snowy weather!

The answer is of course… YES!

Woodchip is delivered every 10 days and blown into our storage shed

Millie and Rodney, warm and settled in their cat chalet.
Individual radiators in the accommodation keep the temperature at a cosy 20C, 24 hours a day

We have 16 individual dog kennel buildings and 4 individual cattery buildings. This accommodation is brick built, cavity insulated with UPVC doors and windows.

Our onsite biomass boiler burns sustainable woodchip and produces the hot water needed for the heating around site. The accommodation is heated to 20C.

Our emergency planning consists of back-up generators for the boiler along with electric heaters in all the accommodation, so your pet is guaranteed to be warm and comfortable.

Air tags/ GPS trackers

We have noticed a steady increase in the number of dogs arriving at the kennels with air tags/GPS trackers attached to their collars.

To comply with the latest guidelines, pets must not be wearing these when boarding.

We kindly ask you to please remove these before arrival, thank you for your co-operation with this.

That’s all for this update, see you next month
