‘Is the accommodation heated?’

Is a question that has been asked many times this week!

The answer is of course, yes! Our 20 individual buildings housing our dog kennels and cat chalets are all thermostatically controlled to around 20C. In 2013 the company invested in the installation of a biomass boiler. By burning sustainable woodchip we are not only keeping your pets nice and warm but doing our bit to reduce our carbon footprint.

We have a delivery of 7 tonnes of woodchip every 10 days throughout winter. This fuels our biomass boiler and pump system which distributes hot water around the huge network of pipes to the 125 radiators located throughout the animal accommodation

Cats and Small Animals Check-In

Another reminder that from 2^nd January 2023 Cats and Small Animals will need to be with us before 2pm. (This has always been an existing rule for clients with dogs).

This decision was made in the interest of Animal Welfare, with pets arriving before 2pm it will give more time for our team to help the pets settle into their new surroundings on the first day of their board, even if it isn’t the pets first time boarding with us. We thank all our clients with Cats and Small Animals in advance for their co-operation with this.

It’s a Pets Christmas too!

Don’t forget, we have Christmas stock available in our pet shop for those pet stocking fillers! Our shop is open 8am – 6pm, 7 days a week!

2022 – We are very busy for Christmas/New Year.
2023 – We are taking bookings for all of 2023 and beyond, we currently have availability for the whole year but are getting busy for Feb ½ term and Easter.
